One paragraph per programme.

GlobalG.A.P. v6 — pre-farm gate

GlobalG.A.P. is the world's most widely adopted pre-farm gate standard, covering soil management, pesticide application, water use, worker welfare and traceability from seed to farm gate. Version 6, the current edition, introduced a risk-based internal audit model and strengthened requirements for digital record-keeping and food-defence. Every grower in our network holds an annual GlobalG.A.P. certificate issued by an accredited third-party inspection body. The certificate number is available on request; buyers can verify it directly on the GlobalG.A.P. certificate database. For EU buyers, GlobalG.A.P. compliance is the baseline that demonstrates EU MRL discipline is a managed system, not a guess.

BRCGS Food Safety — pack-house

BRCGS (formerly BRC Global Standard for Food Safety) is the pack-house audit that EU and UK retail buyers use to qualify new suppliers. It audits HACCP implementation, facility hygiene, pest control, allergen management, product traceability and recall readiness. Our pack-houses operate to BRCGS-aligned protocols; each facility undergoes an annual unannounced audit. The current standard version (Issue 9) places additional weight on food safety culture and senior management accountability — requirements that align with how our operations are structured. A BRCGS certificate or audit summary letter is available for each pack-house on request.

ISO 22000 — food safety management system

ISO 22000 is the international standard for food safety management systems. Unlike product-level standards, it audits the management processes that govern food safety across an entire organisation: hazard analysis (HACCP), prerequisite programmes, management review cycles and continual improvement loops. It follows the same high-level structure as ISO 9001, making it straightforward to integrate into a combined quality and food safety management system. ISO 22000 certification covers our export operations and is renewed on a three-year cycle with annual surveillance audits. A copy of the certificate is available on request.

ISO 9001 — quality management

ISO 9001 is the global benchmark for quality management systems — the framework that governs how an organisation plans, executes and improves its processes to consistently meet customer requirements. For a fresh-produce exporter, this means documented procedures for order handling, pack-house quality checks, cold-chain handoffs and customer-complaint resolution. ISO 9001 certification provides independent evidence that our quality management is systematic rather than ad hoc. The standard was last revised in 2015; our certification is current and audited annually.

FSSC 22000 — food safety scheme

FSSC 22000 is a GFSI-benchmarked food safety scheme built on ISO 22000 plus sector-specific prerequisite programmes. GFSI (Global Food Safety Initiative) benchmarking means it is recognised by most major European and international retailers as equivalent to BRCGS and IFS, removing the need for separate retailer audits in many cases. Version 6 of FSSC 22000, released in 2023, strengthened requirements around food fraud prevention and food safety culture. FSSC 22000 certification in our network covers facilities that supply retail-ready product and premium foodservice accounts. Certificate copies and scope statements are available on request.
